“WT* Is Going On?”: Former Warriors Guard Unleashes Unfiltered Tirade on Kristaps Porzingis Denying AIDS Rumors While Cashing In On $40 Million Deals

Golden State Warriors big man Kristaps Porzingis remains out due to an undisclosed illness. No one knows when he will return to the roster, as he recovers from the illness he’s dealt with over the summer. Tuesday was the first time he reported to the team since they started training camp and preseason games.

Amid the uncertain reports about his health, there have been rumors that Porzingis is dealing with HIV or AIDS. After reporting to the Warriors, the one-time All-Star gave fans an update about his health on X.

“Hello people, I’m working with doctors and experts to figure out how to be fully back to good health asap. Honestly, I’m getting better and better. I just have to stay patient, and I believe I’ll be feeling great again soon,” Porzingis wrote on X.

The one-time champion also dismissed the rumors about what kind of disease he has.

“I appreciate all the internet doctors trying to diagnose and help, but I’m in the best hands. So everyone can relax now 😄🙏🏼 and I don’t have hiv or aids.”

After Porzingis posted it on X, former Warriors guard Nick Young unleashed an unfiltered tirade about the organization and the big man. Young has issues with the franchise signing him to a two-year, $40 million contract extension over the summer. The former player expressed his personal opinion about the matter.

“He said, ‘I ain’t got AIDS, and you still pay him.’ Like, what the f**k is going on?” Young said. “He had to say, ‘I don’t got AIDS.’ The fact that you still pay him after that, though.

“I can come in there dizzy with needles and a f**king IV thing. You still pay me? I ain’t showed up in two weeks; I come back with an IV. Like, ‘Hey man, I ain’t got that s**t; I want a couple of dollars,’ and you still give it to me? I’m done with this s**t.”

Kristaps Porzingis’ new deal with the Warriors only has a $6 million guarantee.

Steve Kerr Addresses Kristaps Porzingis’ Situation

Kristaps Porzingis has been the center of attention after his health concerns were brought up. Warriors coach Steve Kerr has been constantly asked about Porzingis’ situation, and he doesn’t want it to be the focus around the team.

“He will be around, but we’re not going to make it a daily Kristaps discussion. When we have something to report, then we will do so,” he said.

The good news for the Warriors is that Kristaps Porzingis was able to report to the Warriors. Even during the offseason, no one within the organization had an update on his health. Moving forward, he will remain with the team ahead of the 2026-27 season.
