Serbian tennis player Teodora Kostovic caught the tennis world’s attention after sharing a cheeky moment involving her longtime crush Carlos Alcaraz at the Cincinnati Open. Following her recent W100 Amstetten title win, Kostovic celebrated it with a teasing reference to the Spanish tennis star.
She was seen wearing a Yonex tennis dress during her visit to a supermarket. Kostovic then grabbed a yogurt can featuring Alcaraz’s face on it and kissed it. She shared the picture on her Instagram and did not forget to tag the seven-time Grand Slam winner.

Soon after this playful stunt, Kostovic’s interview made rounds on Reddit, where she expressed her admiration for Alcaraz. When asked who her favorite ATP player was, she simply replied:
“Carlos Alcaraz. I really love him, and hopefully one day I will marry him.”
During her recent appearance at the Cincinnati Open, Kostovic again took the opportunity to showcase her adoration for the Spanish ace. She shared a few glimpses from the tournament. In one of the pictures from the carousel, she was seen blowing a kiss towards a flex featuring Alcaraz.
The 19-year-old Kostovic is the highest-ranked Serbian WTA player.

Carlos Alcaraz’s wrist injury, which he sustained at the Barcelona Open, has kept him away from the Tour, forcing him to even miss the French Open and Wimbledon Championships. Although his withdrawal from the Cincinnati Open received huge backlash, legendary coach Rick Macci rallied behind him.
He stated that the Spaniard’s team is making the right decision by focusing on practice and recovery. Macci further added that Alcaraz should return to competition only when he is physically and mentally ready.
“Everything with the Spanish Magician will be fine and is fine. His team knows best and that is more practice recovery and rest. He will 100% know when he feels ready for pure combat and get knocked down and get off the mat. When he feels mentally he can win it he will be in it. This is no red flag from the doctors bag. Being patient smart and wise is how gets back on track to win the prize. Carlos will play when he 100 ready to run sweat rip and be steady.”
