WWE is days away from Money in the Bank, and Liv Morgan has the opportunity to recapture her lost gold. Meanwhile, the former Women’s World Champion made a surprising reveal about her last job before she made it big in wrestling.
In 2014, Liv Morgan worked as a waitress and model at Hooters before signing a deal with WWE, and Morgan has addressed it in interviews. After joining the Stamford-based promotion, Morgan hasn’t looked back at her old job, but has dived into different avenues over the years.

Speaking on Six Feet Under with The Undertaker, the 32-year-old WWE star made a shocking reveal about her early days in the business. During their conversation, Morgan revealed she made more money at Hooters compared to her first year on the developmental brand.
The former two-time WWE Women’s World Champion explained her starting salary wasn’t much, and after expenses, she was left with enough to buy herself dinner at 7-11.
“You know, I was doing pretty well for myself at Hooters. No disrespect. I would’ve signed for free, and you wouldn’t have had to pay me a cent. My first couple of months being here, I would’ve made more money at Hooters, like I was broke. My first year in NXT between, like, my run and Ubering to and from work and gear. I remember there were, like, some weeks I had 6 dollars, and I would go to 7-11 and get a Big Gulp and a hot dog for the rest of the week, and that was like dinner. I was making more money at Hooters. No shame, no disrespect, but NXT’s starting salary back in the day, it wasn’t much,” Morgan said.
Liv Morgan can make history at WWE Money in the Bank 2026
Liv Morgan has achieved a lot in the Stamford-based promotion under two different regimes. From starting her career with The Riott Squad, she’s the face of The Judgment Day alongside Dominik Mysterio. Moreover, Morgan is no stranger to breaking records.
Last year, she and Raquel Rodriguez became the first team to hold the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship on four occasions. No team has come close to the feat under any regime. In the coming days, Morgan can break another record at Money in the Bank.
In 2023, WWE introduced the Women’s World Championship under Triple H’s creative regime. Since its introduction, no superstar has won the newly designed title three times. Rhea Ripley and Stephanie Vaquer have won it twice, but if Liv Morgan wins it in New Orleans, she’ll become the first-ever three-time Women’s World Champion.
