Shocking Bellas Betrayal: Paige Nearly Breaks Down In Tears [VIDEO]

Paige suffered a shocking betrayal at the hands of the Bella Twins at WWE SummerSlam. She was seen breaking down in tears after the attack.

Paige and the Bella Twins took on Fatal Influence, the team of Jacy Jayne, Fallon Henley and Lainey Reid at SummerSlam in a six woman tag team match. The match was a great spectacle for fans of women’s wrestling as all the six stars gave it their all.

In the end, Fatal Influence picked up the win and thereby shocked the fans inside the US Bank Stadium. After the match, the Bella Twins unleashed a surprise attack on Paige with Nikki Bella in particular targeting the surgically repaired neck of the star from Norwich.

After the match, the former AEW star was seen walking up the ramp with tears trickling down her cheeks. She was on the verge of breaking down completely but somehow held it back as the cameras picked up her emotions.

Nikki Bella warned of her heel turn on Paige before SummerSlam

Nikki Bella turned heel alongside her sister Brie and attacked Paige at WWE SummerSlam. Many did not see this coming from the sisters. However, Nikki had somewhat predicted a heel turn just days before the show.

Speaking with Joey Karni, Nikki revealed how much she loves being a heel. She said:

“I had been begging for just to be heel. I just know, I thrive so much in that position and it’s just natural. Then Brie came in and ruined everything, which was fine because we were going in such a great direction. Then Rumble came up and they didn’t know if Brie was coming back or not. So when Brie came back, it was like, well, Nikki obviously needs to be with her. Then we go out that night in Philly and they just looked at me and they go, ‘You have to be neutral.’ I was like, ‘But I literally just turned on my brand new best friend, Stephanie. Wait, what?’ Not that I was bummed, but I just was loving the direction I was going. I was getting so much heat and it was it was a lot of fun.”

That was an interesting take and it sort of makes it clear why she turned heel at SummerSlam. The dynamic between them two and Paige will be one to watch out for next week.
