Some of Hollywood’s best movie moments happen when actors go off script. Directors may spend months working on dialogue, but sometimes unexpected accidents or quick flashes of inspiration create the scenes we remember most. Whether it’s a touching superhero goodbye or a wild outburst, these movie moments show that following the script isn’t always the key to a great scene.
Here are 15 improvised movie scenes.
