Mega Staraptor becomes a more offensive threat, thanks to its boosted stats, new typing and Contrary ability. With this new ability, all stat reductions are now buffs, opening up creative synergy with now STAB Close Combat and Support Pokemon’s Charm, Tickle, and Scary Face.
What’s an addidtional bonus with Staraptor is it still activates Intimidate before Mega Evolving, futher laying the grounds for your setup.
