“HELP PLEASE!” — Heartbreaking CDC V-Safe Records Reveal Desperate Cries From Americans Reporting Severe Illness, Suicidal Thoughts After COVID Shots — “No One Is Helping Me!”

Brownstone Institute President Jeffrey A. Tucker reads heartbreaking submissions from individuals reporting severe health problems following COVID-19 vaccination.

“I feel like I’m going to die.” “My doctor has no advice.” “No one is helping.”

These are among the heartbreaking messages Americans submitted to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) after receiving COVID-19 vaccines, according to records highlighted in a newly published report.

A disturbing collection of previously withheld V-safe surveillance records is once again raising serious questions about how federal health officials responded to Americans who reported devastating medical problems following COVID-19 vaccination.

The records, featured in a new 1,048-page publication titled Cries for Help: Injury and Death Buried in V-Safe Data, document thousands of messages from individuals reporting severe symptoms, emotional distress, and, in some cases, suicidal thoughts.

The report was compiled by vaccine-injury advocacy organization React19 and published by Brownstone Institute on September 30, 2026.

Brownstone Institute founder and president Jeffrey A. Tucker recently read several of the messages aloud, exposing the anguish of individuals who said they had nowhere left to turn.

One individual described suffering persistent vertigo after receiving a second dose of Pfizer’s COVID-19 vaccine.

“I have vertigo since March 18th after a second Pfizer dose. I’ve asked for help here and no one responds. My doctor has no advice. Pfizer does not respond. HELP PLEASE!”

Another individual reported becoming gravely ill after vaccination.

“I’ve been deathly ill since I received the COVID vaccine on 12/23. No one knows what happened to me and no one is helping me. I feel like I’m going to die.”

The testimony became even more alarming as Tucker continued reading.

Another respondent described worsening symptoms and said they could no longer endure their suffering.

“I can’t take much more of this,” the individual wrote, before expressing suicidal thoughts.

A separate entry described severe mental health struggles and an inability to obtain assistance.

These were not messages submitted to an obscure online forum.

They were reports entered into a federal vaccine safety monitoring program operated by the CDC.

And according to the individuals submitting the messages, the help they desperately sought was not coming.

WATCH:
More Than 14,000 Entries Documented in New Report

The CDC launched V-safe in December 2020 to monitor people’s health after receiving COVID-19 vaccines.

The system allowed vaccine recipients to submit regular health updates, including written descriptions of symptoms and other concerns.

According to React19’s investigation, researchers examined more than 7.5 million responses from approximately 3.49 million participants in the released records.

The organization identified 3,329 individuals who submitted 14,430 entries involving pleas for assistance, reports of death or near-death experiences, or suicidal thoughts.

Some participants reportedly submitted repeated messages over weeks or months, questioning whether anyone at the federal agency was even reading their reports.

React19 acknowledged that the messages are self-reported, do not establish that vaccination caused the reported conditions, and cannot independently determine how CDC personnel handled individual submissions.

Nevertheless, the documents raise an urgent accountability question: What happened when Americans reported potentially serious medical problems to the federal government’s vaccine surveillance system?

Were their warnings investigated? Were serious cases referred for medical follow-up? And did officials adequately communicate what the system could and could not do for participants?

The CDC’s current guidance explicitly states that V-safe does not provide medical advice or directly notify a participant’s physician about reported symptoms. The agency also states that it does not call participants in response to their V-safe submissions.

Those limitations make the desperate expectations expressed in the released messages all the more troubling.

CDC Was Ordered to Release Millions of Records

The public did not receive these records through ordinary disclosure.

In January 2024, U.S. District Judge Matthew Kacsmaryk ordered the CDC to release approximately 7.8 million free-text entries following litigation seeking access to the agency’s vaccine monitoring data.

The ruling allowed independent researchers and members of the public to scrutinize information that had not previously been available in the agency’s released datasets.

The records were subsequently made available through the Informed Consent Action Network (ICAN), which maintains a publicly accessible V-safe data archive.

The final scheduled release was published on January 15, 2025, meaning the underlying records are not newly created; what is new is React19’s compilation and presentation of selected reports.

The Gateway Pundit Previously Reported on CDC’s V-Safe Data Battle

As The Gateway Pundit previously reported, vaccine transparency advocates have been fighting for years to obtain access to the CDC’s COVID-19 vaccine monitoring records.

In October 2022, The Gateway Pundit reported that ICAN had secured access to V-safe data following litigation against the CDC.

The released data showed that approximately 7.7% of participating V-safe users reported seeking medical care after vaccination, while roughly one-quarter reported an impact on ordinary activities, work, or school.

Those figures describe reported events following vaccination, not confirmed vaccine-caused injuries.

The Gateway Pundit also reported in April 2024 on criticism of the CDC’s resistance to releasing detailed adverse-event reports and the broader controversy surrounding government censorship during the pandemic.

Now, the latest compilation provides something that summary statistics cannot: individual accounts of people who believed they were suffering and wanted someone to listen.

Whether federal officials responded adequately to those reports deserves serious scrutiny.

Americans were asked to participate in a government vaccine safety monitoring system. They deserve transparency about what happened to the warnings they submitted.

The question is no longer simply what the CDC collected.

It is what the agency did with the information, and whether people reporting potentially life-threatening problems received appropriate guidance.

The public deserves answers.
