Major Championship Match on WWE RAW Ends in Chaos; Liv Morgan Involved

This week’s WWE RAW kicked off with a massive title match. Women’s Intercontinental Champion Raquel Rodriguez defended her gold against Sol Ruca. The bout ended in chaos, featuring interference from several superstars, including Women’s World Champion Liv Morgan.

On the July 27 edition of WWE RAW, Raquel Rodriguez defeated Sol Ruca in a hard-hitting match to win the Women’s Intercontinental Championship. After her title loss, Ruca picked up wins over major superstars, such as Lyra Valkyria and Roxanne Perez in singles competition. She also defeated The Judgment Day alongside IYO SKY in a tag team match.

On the latest episode of WWE RAW, Big Mami Cool made her first televised defense of the Women’s Intercontinental Championship. Sol Ruca and Rodriguez engaged in a back-and-forth showdown. Ruca quickly gained the upper hand with her high-flying moves. However, The Judgment Day member’s raw strength allowed her to bounce back on many occasions.

At one point during the match, Liv Morgan and Roxanne Perez rushed to the ring to help Rodriguez gain an advantage. Sol Ruca took out the duo on the entrance ramp. The former NXT Women’s North American Champion later performed a Corkscrew Moonsault on Big Mami Cool and Perez at ringside.

In the climax of the contest, Sol Ruca attempted to hit the Sol Snatcher on Raquel Rodriguez and seal the win. However, Lyra Valkyria showed up out of nowhere and distracted the challenger. The interference allowed Raquel Rodriguez to deliver an Avalanche Tejana Bomb to Ruca.

The Women’s Intercontinental Champion pinned Ruca to retain the title as Valkyria watched with a twisted smile on her face. Rodriguez celebrated her win in the middle of the ring alongside Morgan and Perez.

Valkyria was visibly delighted after costing Ruca a potential Women’s Intercontinental Championship win on WWE RAW. With the Irishwoman’s interference in the title bout, the creative team seemingly set up a feud between her and Ruca. It will be interesting to see if and when they square off in the ring.
