Unfortunate Dominik Mysterio replace forward of WWE RAW

There has been an unfortunate update regarding Dominik Mysterio ahead of tonight’s episode of WWE RAW. Tonight’s edition of the red brand will air live from the Arena CDMX in Mexico City, Mexico.

As pointed out by Sportskeeda Wrestling on Instagram, Dominik Mysterio is now without a title for the first time in 17 months. He captured the Intercontinental Championship at WrestleMania 41 and then won the AAA Mega Championship in September 2025. Mysterio’s reign as AAA Mega Champion came to an end last night at TripleMania at the hands of El Grande Americano.

Dominik Mysterio’s father, WWE Hall of Famer Rey Mysterio, is the AAA General Manager. Rey Mysterio was defeated by Omos during Night 1 of TripleMania, and The Nigerian Giant was reinstated to the promotion as a result of the victory.

Omos attempted to interfere in the title match at TripleMania, but El Grande Americano fought him off. After the referee was taken out, Rey Mysterio rushed to the ring in a referee shirt and counted to three as El Grande Americano pinned Dirty Dom to become the new AAA Mega Champion. Rey Mysterio defeated his son in a singles match at WrestleMania 39 in Los Angeles.

Dominik Mysterio takes personal shot at WWE Hall of Famer

The Judgment Day’s Dominik Mysterio took a personal shot at Rey Mysterio during a recent interview.

Speaking with IGN, the former champion was asked to name which star in the locker room was the smelliest. The RAW star named his father as the smelliest and referred to him as a deadbeat dad.

“The worst smell? (chuckles) I can’t say that. The GOAT worst smell would probably be wrestling my deadbeat dad. That dude smells. I don’t know what it is,” he said. (H/T: ITRWrestling)

The 29-year-old began a storyline relationship with Liv Morgan after betraying Rhea Ripley at WWE SummerSlam 2026. Liv Morgan lost the Women’s World Championship to Stephanie Vaquer at a live event in Chile over the weekend. Becky Lynch was the special guest referee during the match and refused to count to three after Morgan hit her finisher. It will be fascinating to see what lies ahead for The Judgment Day in the weeks ahead on WWE RAW.
