A WWE star recently made an appearance on RAW after more than a month of absence. She talked about what she did during the downtime.
Lola Vice wrestled her last match on NXT in August this year, losing to Kendal Grey with the NXT Women’s title at stake. Afterwards, she was inactive until she made her return on RAW to participate in the Money In The Bank Qualifying Triple Threat, where she defeated Kelani Jordan and Raquel Rodriguez.
Thanks for the submission!
Speaking about it on Busted Open, Lola Vice explained that she was being diligent about her preparation for her return during the absence. She said:
“From my last match, the Underground match, to my debut in Mexico, I had four or five weeks to be home and reset. I took that like a fight camp, like if I was gonna go back into the cage, so I got into the best shape I could.”
She further added that she worked out extensively in the Performance Center, making sure she was in shape when she returned.
“I went to train at the Performance Center. I worked out two times a day. I took it seriously, and I’m very passionate about it.”
Lola Vice also spoke about working with Paul Heyman in WWE
According to Lola Vice, working with Paul Heyman as her mentor in WWE would be an opportunity she would not reject.
In the same appearance on Busted Open, Vice talked about how Heyman was watching her backstage and stated:
“An advocate? That would be iconic. I didn’t know he was watching me this week, but I really like that. We’ll see. It’s exciting. That would be iconic, and I’d really enjoy that. I think it would be something special.”
Lola Vice has been the WWE NXT Women’s Champion once, and is now a part of the RAW roster. Given her skill evidenced by her work in NXT, she could well become a top player on the red brand in the coming weeks. It remains to be seen what is next for her down the line in the Stamford-based promotion.
